It’s only been a few hours since today’s blast in Beirut and already the crime scene has become a local hangout.
The area doesn’t seem cordoned off very well and people are posing next to the mangled vehicles.
So where is CSI Beirut and shouldn’t they be carefully monitoring the site?
I asked this question during the last car bombing, which remains unsolved almost one year later. Will this attack be any different or will we eventually write off today’s events as yet another case of Lebanese mystery terrorism?
Before we begin speculating about ‘who done it’ this time, shouldn’t we also be asking who has done it last time and the time before that?
And will the real CSI Beirut please stand up?

CSI Beirut are the ones snapping each-other on iPhones…
Ha, possibly. I didn’t see the men in white suits this time though.
