While many news outlets have struggled to get crews on the ground in Syria, Lebanon-based networks like Al Mayadeen (above) and Al Manar have live correspondents who seem to be embedded with the Syrian Army: 

Both Al Mayadeen and Hezbollah’s AL Manar TV have framed Qusair as a strategic victory for the Syrian regime, and the media images will likely play a strong role in producing that narrative.

Meanwhile another Al Manar correspondent reported last night from Homs, where he said life had returned to “normal,” thanks to the army.
